Examinations

A dental examination involves a comprehensive assessment of all oral tissues which includes not only the teeth, but also the soft tissues i.e. lips, tongue, cheeks, gums and palate etc.

As an adjunct to this, xrays may be necessary to assess for areas of dental disease that cannot be seen clinically. Your teeth will be chartered and kept on record. Most patients will require examinations at least twice a year to assess for new dental disease and maintenance of past dental procedures.
